My first scam was selling a Counter-Strike 1.6 server to some Kazakhs for $9.? Everyone knows this game, so I won't go into detail about it. I sold it to some Kazakhs for $9, spun them tales that they don't have to pay anything for it at all, and people will join without any advertising, and you don't even have to install it on hosting. Just start it once, and then sell admin rights - it's like a fairy tale! So, this dude hits me up, asking if I'm selling servers. At first, I didn't get it, asked how he found me, etc. Then he said they have a clan versus clan game going on, so I tell him to send the server so I can check it out. He did, and as a result, one of their guys left the team, and I jumped into the fray. I started wiping the floor with these fools right away, and at the end of the round, glory was at my feet. That's when I was a gaming nerd back in 2012.
