Some Crypto Twitter traders accused Derulo of "rug pulling" the project. Derulo sarcastically tweeted, "Damn, Sahil got me," acknowledging the situation. Referencing one of his early singles, Derulo stated he was now "Ridin’ Solo" and declared his goal to "send the token to the moon." In response, the token spiked 736% to a $5 million market cap in less than two hours. "Jason holds a portion of the supply and has a direct interest in pumping it; he's aiming to replicate Iggy's success," explained Arora, referring to Azalea's token which garnered the most success among recently launched celebrity tokens. This occurs amidst a broader decline in the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana have all dropped in the past 24 hours, while the defunct Japanese Bitcoin exchange Mt. Gox pledges to finally reimburse creditors a decade after their losses. JASON briefly dipped but has since surged to a new all-time high price of about $0.011, pushing the token's market cap to over $10 million currently.
